ingredients
carrot -2 small
almonds-1 cup
milk - 1 litre
water -1/2 litre
sugar -1 cup or 1 1/2 cup
cardamom powder-3 pinches
cashew nuts 4 tdsp
pista -4 tbsp
method:
* soak the almonds in warm water for 10 minutes.
* peel the layer of almonds .take half of the almonds and chopped in to thin slices.
*peel the carrot and cut into small pieces.
* in a double boiler place the carrot pieces and another half of almonds for half an hour on low heat
* grind the carrot,almond in to smooth paste.add sugar to it and grind again.
* heat the milk in a thick bottomed kadai ,add water to it.
*after heating milk add cardamom powder to it and switch of the stove.
*add the almond, carrot paste to milk.after completely dissolves add the cashew,almond,pista slices in to milk.
*allow it to cool,and enjoy the taste of almond carrot yummy milk
